When you imagine a thrilling, performance vehicle, you probably think of something like the Ford Mustang. The Mustang has been wowing the world for over 55 years and is now getting a new sibling in the form of the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E, an all-electric SUV.

Changing Expectations

The Mach-E will go on sale at the end of 2020 and will be just as impressive as the coupe and convertible Mustangs. Powering the Mach-E will be a combination of electric motors and batteries. If you choose the extended-range battery model, it is expected to have a driving range over 300 miles. The Mach-E is expected to have a base output around 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.

“The Mustang Mach-E wholeheartedly rejects the notion that electric vehicles are only good at reducing gas consumption,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product development and purchasing officer. “People want a car that’s thrilling to drive, that looks gorgeous and that can easily adapt to their lifestyle – and the Mustang Mach-E delivers all of this in unmatched style.”

Don’t Sacrifice Performance

For an even more thrilling driving experience, the Mach-E will be available in two special performance versions; The Mustang Mach-E GT and Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition. The GT Performance Edition is expected to have a 0-60 mph time in the mid-3-second range with available all-wheel drive and an output of 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque.

You can reserve your 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E now so that you’ll be one of the first on your block riding the wave of the future. To learn more about the Mustang Mach-E and all that’s new and upcoming from the Blue Oval, visit Sun State Ford.
