A Petrified Forest

With multiple trails for you to choose from, you can stumble blindly down the darkened pathways of A Petrified Forest and right into a shrieking good time. A Petrified Forest is located in Altamonte Springs and stays open until Nov. 3, with special “Total Eclipse” events on Nov. 1-2. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance!


With all-new attractions for 2018, like “Rage 3D” and “Demon’s Revenge,” Scream-A-Geddon in Dade City can rightfully claim to be one of the freshest and most fun haunts in the area. The haunt is open this year from Oct. 4-Nov. 3, and on Fridays and Saturdays in October they stay open until 1 a.m. for all you late-night thrill-seekers out there.

If you’re looking for something a little mellower and child-friendly, be sure to check out any number of Disney’s magic Halloween haunts this year. Events range from the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
