Who will be the owner of the first ever unit of the upcoming Ford GT? According to the automaker, they’re getting serious bids from famous car-collectors all over the world, from the likes of Jay Leno to anonymous high-bidders. Our question is, how much will this first Ford GT go for?
After Ford revealed the 2016 GT and paraded it around all the best auto shows, it’s no wonder that enthusiasts are dying to get their hands on one. It won’t be easy; all reports point to a possible price tag between $300,000 and $400,000 for the vehicle.
Plus, Ford hasn’t declared how many units of the 2016 GT they will actually make, and hasn’t shared much info on what variants and options the model will have. It’s still likely that big-league buyers will shell out for the first GT, regardless of what it looks like. Whatever the GT has to offer, we definitely can’t wait to see it (if only on pictures!)
The 2016 Ford GT release date lies in the second half of 2016, but some people apparently just can’t wait any longer. Who do you think will snag the first 2016 Ford GT? Tell us at Sun State Ford what you thoughts are!
